Dip Remedial Massage
Bec is a fully qualified remedial massage therapist and myotherapist.
Originally From Tamworth she completed her diploma in remedial massage at the Advanced Massage College Australia in Dubbo in 2011 and worked as the massage therapist for a large private owned medical and allied health centre in Dubbo for 3 years.
She has experience with a wide range of problems from neck and shoulder pain, upper and mid back pain, headaches and migraines, lower back and hip pain, sciatica, sporting injuries and more. Bec uses a holistic approach when it comes to treating the body and believes that diet and lifestyle play a huge part when helping the body to overcome pain. She differs from many therapists because with a combination of remedial massage and myotherapy she works to find the cause of pain in the body and uses specific techniques to correct the problem, while many therapists are trained to only treat the symptoms. She is a big believer in the value of touch in healing and recovery and feels that massage is one of the most natural healing methods one could choose.
Bec also provides deep tissue, sports, relaxation, lymphatic drainage, and pregnancy massage. She is registered with all health funds and is a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association.
Bec is back from Maternity leave and working limited hours throughout the week, including Saturdays.
