Instructions
- Lie down on your back.
- Whilst keeping your knee straight, lift the foot up until you feel restriction.
- Turn your foot inwards to bias the Peroneal Nerve.
- Whilst slowly lowering the leg and returning the foot to neutral, lift your head up.
- Slowly lower the head back down whilst lifting the leg back up and turning the foot inwards.
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 to slide the peroneal nerve back and forth.
Precautions
- Only do this as many times as your Physiotherapist has prescribed, as you can overdo this and further irritate the nerve.
- This should cause some symptoms, however overall should make your pain better, not worse.
- Contact your Physiotherapist for any questions.
