Theraband instructions:

  • Anchor TheraBand to a higher point
  • Hold band with the affected limb out to side
  • From this position pull the band down towards your hip and then control the movement of the arm back up to the starting position.
  • Repeat as per physiotherapist instruction
  • Stand to the side of the cable machine
  • Position your feet hip width apart with core engaged
  • Press the handle towards the side body
  • Control the return towards the machine
  • Repeat as per physiotherapist guidelines

Precautions:

  • Do not let the band fling back towards the starting position uncontrolled
  • Do not allow the band to pull you back to the start position
  • Maintain your core engagement
  • Limit movement through the wrist
