Instructions
- Place the inside of the affected arm on the door frame
- The elbow is bent and the hand is flat on the wall
- Slowly and gently lunge forward, keeping the arm in the starting position, until you begin to feel a stretch
- Draw the chest bone forward and away from the arm against the wall
- Sustain as per Physiotherapist guidelines
Precautions
Try to avoid the following:
- Elevating the shoulder to the ear
- Losing contact between the elbow and the wall
- Pushing forward with the shoulder
