1Hip Abduction
3 sets of 15 reps

  • Stand near a chair or wall to give yourself support.
  • Tie a theraband around your ankles.
  • Extend one leg out towards the side, putting tension on the theraband.
  • Return the leg to the starting position.
  • Repeat this as many times as your Physiotherapist has prescribed.
2Shoulder External Rotation
3 sets of 10 reps
Green Band
  • Bend the elbow of the target limb to a 90 degree angle.
  • Open the chest by slightly drawing the shoulder blades together.
  • Position the back of the hand against a firm surface and push as if trying to push the hand away from the body.
  • Keep the elbow tucked into the side body.
  • Sustain for period of time designated by Physiotherapist.
