Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral to see a physio?
No referral is needed. You can book directly with us. We’re happy to work with your GP or specialist if required.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the condition and your goals. Some people improve after just a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support.
Will I get hands-on treatment?
Yes. Our physios use a combination of manual therapy and exercise-based rehab to get you the best results.
Is physio covered by private health?
Yes. Private health rebates generally apply if you have "extras" cover.
Is physio covered by Medicare?
Your GP can provide a GP chronic condition management plan (GPCCMP). These may allow you up to 5 rebated sessions in a calendar year. Please note we do not bulk bill and there is an out-of-pocket expense with these plans.
