Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I need a referral to see a physio?
- No referral is needed. You can book directly with us. We’re happy to work with your GP or specialist if required.
- How many sessions will I need?
- It depends on the condition and your goals. Some people improve after just a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support.
- Will I get hands-on treatment?
- Yes. Our physios use a combination of manual therapy and exercise-based rehab to get you the best results.
- Is physio covered by private health?
- Yes. Private health rebates generally apply if you have "extras" cover.
- Is physio covered by Medicare?
- Your GP can provide a GP chronic condition management plan (GPCCMP). These may allow you up to 5 rebated sessions in a calendar year. Please note we do not bulk bill and there is an out-of-pocket expense with these plans.
