Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I have to have an internal exam?
- No. Internal assessments are entirely optional and may not be required. They are only performed with your consent.
- Can you help with bladder leakage?
- Yes. We assess your pelvic floor and continence symptoms and provide targeted treatment plans, often including bladder diaries and strengthening exercises.
- How soon after birth should I book a session?
- Most women benefit from a postnatal check around 6 weeks postpartum, but you can book earlier if you're in pain or concerned.
- Can you help with mastitis?
- Yes. We use ultrasound therapy and massage techniques to support blocked ducts and can refer to lactation consultants as needed.
- Do I need a referral?
- No referral is needed. However, we work closely with GPs, obstetricians, and midwives when appropriate.
