  • Place a resistance band around both thighs, just above your knees.
  • Start in a 4-point kneeling position with your hands directly under your shoulders and your knees under your hips.
  • Gently brace your abdominal muscles and maintain a comfortable, neutral spine.
  • Keeping your knee bent, slowly lift one knee out to the side against the resistance of the band.
  • Keep your pelvis level and facing the floor as you lift your leg.
  • Lift only as far as you can while maintaining good trunk and pelvic control.
  • Slowly lower your knee back to the starting position.
  • Complete repetitions as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
