  • Stand upright with your feet hip-width apart, shoulders relaxed, and arms resting comfortably by your sides.
  • Engage your core to keep your torso tall and stable.
  • Lift your right knee up towards your chest while simultaneously performing a small hop off your left foot.
  • Land softly on your left foot as you lower your right foot back to the ground.
  • Immediately lift your left knee up towards your chest and hop lightly off your right foot.
  • Continue alternating legs in a smooth, rhythmic skipping pattern.
  • Keep your chest lifted, your gaze forwards, and your arms moving naturally to assist balance.
  • Focus on landing lightly on the balls of your feet with each hop.
  • Complete repetitions as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
