  • Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart.
  • Place a soft ball, rolled towel or pillow between your knees.
  • Gently draw your lower tummy in and keep your pelvis in a neutral position (avoid flattening or arching your lower back).
  • Slowly squeeze the object between your knees.
  • Keep your hips, pelvis and shoulders relaxed – the movement should come from your inner thighs.
  • Breathe normally and avoid holding your breath.
  • Hold/maintain as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
