- Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart.
- Place a soft ball, rolled towel or pillow between your knees.
- Gently draw your lower tummy in and keep your pelvis in a neutral position (avoid flattening or arching your lower back).
- Slowly squeeze the object between your knees.
- Keep your hips, pelvis and shoulders relaxed – the movement should come from your inner thighs.
- Breathe normally and avoid holding your breath.
- Hold/maintain as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
