Ankle eversion mobility AROM involves actively turning the foot outward to restore joint movement and muscle control. This exercise helps reduce stiffness, improve ankle flexibility, and strengthen movement patterns important for walking, balance, and sport. It’s commonly prescribed after injury to regain confidence in ankle function.

  • Come into a sitting position with affected limb out long.
  • Position a towel underneath the leg to elevate the foot.
  • With a straight knee, position the foot upright so the toes are towards the roof.
  • Move the sole of the foot outwards.
  • Repeat as per Physiotherapist guidelines.
