The single-leg ankle inversion with theraband is a strengthening exercise targeting the muscles on the inside of the lower leg, particularly the tibialis posterior. It helps improve ankle stability, control, and arch support. This exercise is commonly used in rehab for ankle sprains, flat feet, and to enhance balance in daily activities.
- Secure the resistance band around the affected foot and loop it around the unaffected limb to anchor.
- With a straight knee, move the ankle so the toes are coming inwards across the midline.
- Slowly return to the start position.
- Repeat as per Physiotherapist’s guidelines.
