This exercise is a gentle spinal mobility movement that combines a prone “cobra” position with a controlled side glide towards the left. It is commonly prescribed to improve movement through the lower back, reduce stiffness, and help manage pain that responds well to directional movements. The exercise encourages controlled extension of the spine while introducing a gentle lateral shift, helping to restore normal movement and reduce discomfort.
- Lay on your stomach, keep your upper body straight and place your legs over to the left to create a ‘banana’ shape
