Bridge with psoas march
- Lie on your back with knees stretched and feet on box/bench, hip-width apart
- Position band around toes
- Place your arms by your sides with palms down for support
- Gently engage your core to stabilise your pelvis and avoid rib flare
- Press through your heels to lift your hips into a bridge
- Hold a steady bridge position with hips level
- Lift one foot into table top position bringing the knee up towards 90 degrees hip flexion
- Keep your pelvis completely still as the leg lifts
- Lower the foot back down slowly with control
- Alternate legs in a slow marching motion
- Maintain even hip height and avoid shifting side to side
- Hold/maintain as prescribed by your physiotherapist
