  • From the seated position, place both feet firmly on the floor and stand up using both legs.
  • Once fully upright, shift your weight onto one leg and lift the opposite foot slightly off the ground.
  • Slowly bend the standing knee and hinge at the hips to lower yourself back down towards the chair using only the single leg.
  • Control the descent and lightly sit down on the chair.
  • Place both feet back on the floor before standing up again with both legs.
  • Complete repetitions as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
