- Lie flat on a bench with a dumbbell in each hand.
- Hold the dumbbells above your chest with palms facing each other and elbows slightly bent.
- Slowly lower the dumbbells out to the sides in a wide arc.
- Keep a slight bend in your elbows throughout the movement.
- Lower until you feel a comfortable stretch across your chest.
- Bring the dumbbells back together above your chest using a controlled motion.
- Complete repetitions as prescribed by your physiotherapist
