  • Lie flat on a bench with a dumbbell in each hand.
  • Hold the dumbbells above your chest with palms facing each other and elbows slightly bent.
  • Slowly lower the dumbbells out to the sides in a wide arc.
  • Keep a slight bend in your elbows throughout the movement.
  • Lower until you feel a comfortable stretch across your chest.
  • Bring the dumbbells back together above your chest using a controlled motion.
  • Complete repetitions as prescribed by your physiotherapist
