  • Stand upright with your feet hip-width apart.
  • Have a partner stand nearby, ready to apply gentle pushes while you are in the air.
  • Perform a controlled vertical jump.
  • As you are airborne, your partner applies a gentle push from one direction:
    • From behind
    • From the side
    • From the front
  • Land softly on both feet with your knees aligned over your toes.
  • Absorb the landing by bending through your hips, knees and ankles.
  • Maintain your balance and regain a stable standing position before the next repetition.
  • Keep your chest upright and your core engaged throughout the movement.
  • Complete repetitions as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
