- Stand upright on both feet with your partner nearby, ready to apply gentle pushes while you are in the air.
- Perform a controlled vertical jump.
- As you are airborne, your partner applies a gentle push from one direction:
- From behind
- From the side
- From the front
- Land softly on the prescribed leg.
- Absorb the landing by bending through your hip, knee and ankle.
- Keep your knee aligned over your toes and avoid letting it collapse inward.
- Maintain your balance and stabilise on the landing leg before returning to the starting position.
- Keep your chest upright and your core engaged throughout the movement.
- Complete repetitions as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
