Foot doming is a strengthening exercise for the small intrinsic muscles of the foot, designed to support the arch and improve overall foot stability. By training these muscles to contract without curling the toes, it enhances balance, reduces strain on the plantar fascia, and contributes to better alignment during walking, running, and other weight-bearing activities. This makes it a valuable addition to both injury prevention and rehabilitation programs.

  • Keeping the toes and heel planted on the ground slowly lift the ball of the big toe up towards the sky.
  • Sustain the contraction for 3s and slowly return to the ground.
  • Repeat as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
