The gaze stability ball toss is a vestibular rehabilitation exercise designed to improve balance, hand-eye coordination, and visual tracking.
- Stand with your feet hip width apart. Holding a hand ball like a tenis ball
- Toss the ball up in the air so your head and eyes have to look upwards, catch it with your opposite hand
- Keep your eyes fixed on the ball at all times
- You can increase the difficulty by putting your feet together, in tandem or stand on one leg based on your physiotherapist guidance
