  • Sit on the edge of a bed
  • Extend one leg straight out in front of you on the bed, keeping the knee straight and toes pointing up.
  • Let the other leg hang comfortably off the side of the bed, with the foot relaxed and knee bent.
  • Gently reach forward towards your foot on the bed.
  • You should feel a stretch along the back of your thigh (on the leg that’s on the bed).
  • Hold/maintain as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
