- Begin in a comfortable kneeling position on all fours with your hands directly under your shoulders and your knees under your hips.
- Gently engage your abdominal muscles to support your spine.
- Slowly shift your hips forwards while allowing your hips and lower back to move into extension.
- Keep your shoulders relaxed and your head in a comfortable position, looking slightly forwards as you move.
- Move only as far as is comfortable without forcing the movement or causing pain.
- Slowly return to the starting position in a controlled manner.
- Continue to move smoothly between the start and end positions.
- Complete repetitions as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
