Stand side on to a cable machine with the pulley set at elbow height.
Hold the cable handle in the hand closest to the machine.
Bend your elbow to 90 degrees and keep it tucked gently against your side. You may place a rolled towel between your elbow and body if instructed by your physiotherapist.
Stand tall with your shoulders relaxed and engage your core.
Begin with your forearm pointing away from your body.
Keeping your elbow tucked against your side, rotate your forearm across the front of your body.
Pause briefly at the end of the movement without allowing your shoulder to roll forwards.
Slowly return to the starting position with control.
Keep your wrist in a neutral position and avoid rotating your trunk throughout the exercise.
Complete repetitions as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
