  • Sit on a firm chair with both feet flat on the floor.
  • Cross your unaffected foot over the front of your affected ankle and gently press your unaffected leg backward, guiding the affected leg into a bent (flexed) position as far as is comfortable
  • Hold briefly at the end of the movement to feel a gentle stretch.
  • Slowly return both feet to the starting position by guiding the affected leg forward with the help of the opposite leg.
