Instructions
- Set the barbell securely in a landmine attachment and position the resistance band as directed by your physiotherapist.
- Move into a proposal lunge with one knee on the ground and the opposite foot flat in front of you.
- Hold the end of the barbell at shoulder height with the arm on the same side as your kneeling knee.
- Keep your front knee aligned over your foot and maintain a tall, upright posture.
- Gently brace your abdominal muscles and keep your ribs controlled rather than allowing your lower back to arch.
- Press the bar forwards and upwards, following the natural angled path of the landmine.
- Allow your shoulder blade to move naturally as you press, while keeping your neck relaxed and avoiding shrugging excessively.
- Extend your arm with control without forcing the shoulder into an uncomfortable position.
- Slowly lower the bar back towards your shoulder, maintaining tension and control against the resistance band.
- Keep your pelvis, trunk and lower body steady throughout the movement.
- Complete repetitions as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
