  • Stand facing a step or box.
  • Begin in a 90/90 lunge position with your front foot on the floor and your back knee bent to approximately 90 degrees.
  • Drive through your front heel to stand up and step onto the box.
  • As you rise onto the box, bring your opposite knee up towards hip height in a controlled knee drive.
  • Maintain an upright posture and keep your pelvis level throughout the movement.
  • Pause briefly at the top while balancing on one leg.
  • Slowly lower yourself back down into the starting lunge position with control.
  • Keep your knee aligned over your toes and avoid letting it collapse inward.
  • Complete repetitions as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
