The peroneal nerve slider is a gentle mobility exercise designed to improve nerve movement and reduce irritation along the outer leg. It’s often used in rehab for nerve-related leg pain, tingling, or stiffness, helping restore comfort and normal movement. This technique is performed in a controlled, pain-free range to avoid aggravating symptoms.

  • Lying on your back use a towel behind the back of the knee to extend the leg to a comfortable position.
  • With the head on the bed, turn your ankle inwards until you feel a stretch up the side of the leg.
  • Then bring the ankle back to neutral simultaneously lifting the head and shoulders.
  • There shouldn’t be any pain or worsening of symptoms.
  • Complete as per Physiotherapist guidelines.
