  • Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor and your arms crossed over your chest.
  • Begin in a slightly reclined position.
  • Engage your abdominal muscles and keep your chin gently tucked.
  • Lean your trunk forwards, bringing your chest towards an upright sitting position.
  • Continue the movement until you are sitting tall.
  • Slowly return to the starting position in a controlled manner.
  • Avoid using your arms to assist the movement unless instructed by your physiotherapist.
  • Complete repetitions as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
