- Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor and your arms crossed over your chest.
- Begin in a slightly reclined position.
- Engage your abdominal muscles and keep your chin gently tucked.
- Lean your trunk forwards, bringing your chest towards an upright sitting position.
- Continue the movement until you are sitting tall.
- Slowly return to the starting position in a controlled manner.
- Avoid using your arms to assist the movement unless instructed by your physiotherapist.
- Complete repetitions as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
