- Kneel beside the ball and place your lower elbow and forearm on top of the Swiss ball directly beneath your shoulder.
- Extend both legs out to the side
- Tighten your abdominal muscles and gently draw your shoulder blade down and back.
- Lift your hips off the floor until your body forms a straight line from your head to your feet.
- Keep your neck relaxed and your head in line with your spine.
- Maintain even pressure through your forearm into the ball and avoid allowing the ball to roll.
- Breathe steadily throughout the exercise.
- Hold as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
