  • Position your feet hip-width apart and engage your core gently by drawing your lower abdomen in.
  • Shift your weight onto one leg, keeping your pelvis level.
  • Lift the opposite foot off the floor, bending the knee slightly so it does not touch the standing leg.
  • Fix your gaze on a point in front of you and ensure your shoulders remain relaxed.
  • Slowly turn your head to the left as far as is comfortable, keeping your body upright and hips steady.
  • Return your head to centre, then slowly turn your head to the right.
  • Continue turning your head left to right in a controlled manner while maintaining your balance.
  • Keep your standing knee slightly soft (not locked) and maintain even breathing throughout.
  • Hold/maintain as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
