  • Sit comfortably with your forearm supported on a table and your wrist in a neutral position.
  • Roll the theraputty into a long rope shape, then connect the ends to form a closed circle or ring.
  • Place your fingers inside the ring so the putty rests around the middle of your fingers.
  • Begin with your fingers gently touching each other inside the ring.
  • Slowly spread your fingers apart against the resistance of the putty, moving outward in a controlled motion.
  • Focus on keeping the movement smooth and even, feeling the muscles on the back and sides of your hand working.
  • Pause briefly when you feel moderate resistance.
  • Gently return your fingers to the starting position, maintaining control.
  • Complete repetitions as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
