  • Stand upright with your feet about hip-width apart, shoulders relaxed, and arms either crossed in front of your chest or resting on your hips.
  • Bend your knees and lower into a squat position, keeping your hips back as if sitting into a chair and your chest lifted.
  • Ensure your knees track in line with your toes and your weight is evenly distributed through your feet.
  • Return to a standing position.
  • Step your left leg forward and rotate your torso/shoulders so that you are facing to your right.
  • Bend your knees and lower into a squat position, keeping your hips back as if sitting into a chair and your chest lifted.
  • Return to a standing position.
  • Step your right leg forward and rotate your torso/shoulders so that you are facing to your leg.
  • Continue this walking pattern, stepping forward one foot at a time.
  • Complete repetitions as prescribed by your physiotherapist.
